10 Perks Of Being Best Friends With Your Significant Other

1. You always have someone to hang out with.

Whether you want to go out to eat or just go for a drive, they're always there to do something with.

2. They always make you laugh.

No matter where you are or what you're doing, you are always laughing together.

3. You can be as weird as you want with them.

They get your weird quirks and love them completely.

4. When you're upset, they're upset.

Whenever you are sad because you dropped your favorite nail polish and broke it on your floor dying it purple, they will laugh and then feel sad too.

5. You have your "places"

After awhile you have a list of your favorite places to go together, and you go there just about weekly. Whenever I am home from college my boyfriend and I always make a trip to Egg Harbor Cafe.

6. You have a routine.

Drive home from school together, have dinner with the family, get ice cream, go home. You always have a schedule of your normal routine together.

7. You know each other's individual schedules.

If you work, when you have class, when you have free time, you always know what the other one is up to.

8. You share the same friends.

If your significant other makes a friend, they're automatically your friend too because you are best friends.

9. You can talk about anything and everything.

A major perk to being best friends with your boyfriend or girlfriend is you always have someone to talk to, about anything. And if you are having issues in the relationship the communication is open making it easier to solve problems.

10. You can't live without each other.

They're your best friend, AND your love. The best of both worlds.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
