Who doesn't love discovering new furry creatures? If you have already met these wonderful animals, then please just enjoy their sweet faces.


1. Capybara

This guy is the largest rodent in the world! He lives in Central and South America and he loves the water!

2. Wombat

This guy is a pudgy marsupial that can be found in Australia or other scattered islands nearby! They stay in their mother's pouch for five months before first emerging!

3. Slow Loris

This sweet baby is part of the primate family and can be found in South or Southeast Asia.

4. Binturong


Often described as the bearcat, the Binturong can also be found in South or Southeast Asia!


5. Great Horned Owl

This pretty owl is native to the Americas and they can swim!

6. Quokkas

The Quokka is also a marsupial and can be found on Rottnest Island near Australia. They are herbivores that are nocturnal!

7. Fennec Foxes

This cutie is the smallest of the world's foxes and can be found in the Sandy Sahara and elsewhere in North Africa.

8. Sugar Glider

Sugar Gliders are considered part of the marsupial family. They are omnivorous and live in Australia, Tasmania, Papua New Guinea, and a few other different isles!

9. Tasmanian Devil


This handsome devil is a carnivorous marsupial and is only found in the Australian island state of Tasmania!

10. Kinkajous

The Kinkajous is found in Central and South America and they can turn their feet backwards and run in the opposite direction!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
