Just in time for Halloween, here are some of the best witches in no particular order.
1) Sabrina from "Sabrina the Teenage Witch"
She wore all the 90s trends that are making a comeback today and had a sassy talking cat named Salem.
2) Marnie from "Halloweentown"
Just so we're clear, the Kimberly J. Brown version, not the Sara Paxton version from "Return to Halloweentown." Marnie is spunky and not afraid to break the rules if it means doing what's right.
3) Louise from "Teen Witch"
Most notably, Louise used magic to make her best friend win a semi-cringey rap battle with some douchebags from school.
4) Madison from "American Horror Story: Coven"
Let's be real; Zoe was boring and we all watched "Coven" for Madison. Madison was a former movie star and glamour girl of the coven.
5) Sophie from "The School for Good and Evil" series
Speaking of glamorous witches...Sophie unleashes all her wrath when a prince wouldn't take her to a ball. She grew up believing she was destined to be a princess so it takes her awhile to accept her true identity.
6) Hester, Anadil and Dot from "The School for Good and Evil" series
"School for Good and Evil" may be Sophie and Agatha's story, but these three absolutely steal the show. With Hester's sharp tongue and living demon tattoo, Anadil's cool aloofness and loyal rats, and Dot's cheerfulness while turning everything she can get her hands on into chocolate, they are the coven to watch.
7) Hermione from "Harry Potter"
Let's just say if Voldemort walked into the Ministry of Magic and saw Hermione was in charge, he would slowly back right out. Hermione is the true embodiment of #BossWitch.
8) Elphaba from "Wicked"
Elphaba belted out everyone's favorite musical theater tune, "Defying Gravity" while epically flying away from the Emerald City on her broom. That'll teach the Wizard to experiment on animals.
9) The Enchantress from "Beauty and the Beast"
Okay, so cursing the Beast AND all his servants may have been a bit rash, but that transformation though.
10) The Sanderson Sisters from "Hocus Pocus"
Because no witch list would be complete without them.
