If you are a Noodles and Company fan, this is the article for you.

Coming from a year worth of work expierence, these are 10 things we beg of you to not do your next visit. So please, take notes.

1. Be on your phone while you order and act like our questions are an inconvenience to you.

First off, if you are about to have a social interaction with anyone please get off the phone, it's just rude if you don't. Secondly, we want to make sure we get your order correct so that you can get on with your day and we can get on with ours. We are paid to make sure we get your orders correct, so let us do our job.

2. Act like it is our fault when your gluten-free noodles or extra sauce are a dollar extra.

We do not make the prices. No, we cannot give u the extra sauce or gluten-free noodles for free. That's stealing. If you are so concerned about paying extra, write a letter to corporate, don't give us crap about it.

3. Not listen to us when we repeat your order and then act confused when you get your order and it "isn't what you ordered".

We want to make sure your order is correct and doing one last read through helps ensure we got it correct so that you can have a meal without having to correct your order over and over. It also makes our job easier because then the kitchen does not get backed up trying to correct you not listening to us the first time.

4. Giving us 4+ free bowl cards and get mad at us when we tell you we can only use x amount per transaction.

Read the back of the coupon to see what you can and cannot do with it. And no, we are not going to make seven separate orders for you. That is not how any of this works.

5. Order a meal, tell me you don't like it and ask for me to get you something else, but you will keep the original bowl to take home to the kids or wife or husband.

We are more than happy to make you something else free of charge. But, when you say you want to take the bowl you "don't like" that you barely took a bite out of with you, we both know what game you're trying to play.

6. Not being specific when your child wants just plain butter noodles and then getting mad at me when your child has a meltdown that there are parmesan and weird green stuff on it.

Number one, we make sure to ask because we understand that kids can be picky. Number two, it is not our fault that you did not communicate correctly to us. But yes, we are more than willing to make your child the meal they will eat but do not give us a dirty look.

7. Say "yes" when I ask if you want parm or feta on your pasta.

This does not help at all. Make a decision. Ask us what we would recommend if you don't know.

8. Order without specifying what size you want and then tell us you want everything to be small after you ordered everything and with the 5 million modifications to every dish.

With how our system works, we have to manually redo every single thing you ordered. So please just tell us what size you want from the start. If you are unsure about our sizes, please ask.

9. Parents who give in to their children who have a meltdown because you said no they cannot have the huge crispy, but then turn around and purchase one.

This is just plain annoying. When we were children we would have gotten smacked across the back of the head if we acted like that. Come on parents, use your power and mean what you say. Also, we have kids cripes that you can order as a side with a kids meal if you want to make a compromise.

10. Whenever anyone plays a dirty trick to finesse us into giving them free stuff.

This just makes our job suck because we have to abide by "the customer is always right". It's not nice, it shows what kind of character you are.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
