Looking for a new Netflix series? I am here to tell you the 10 best series' on the cite, and if you haven't already binge-watched them, you're in for a treat. Everyone has their favorites, and I do admit that I haven't yet caved to some of the populars, like Friday Night Lights, but I know that if you're anything like me (and the rest of the generation) you'll be obsessed with these awesome shows.
1. Blacklist
This show has a character whom possesses such a high intelligence in which he uses his smarts to break his wrongly convicted brother out of jail. The relationship between the two, Michael and Lincoln, will have you rooting for them both in the end. This series ends well, which is always a plus, and after many years of being finished, the TV network has decided to bring this show back to life! So catch up now, and you can start watching it live.
3. Gossip Girl
I honestly cannot say enough good things about gossip girl. First of all, you are following the lives of a bunch of millionaire high school and college kids around New York doing anything and everything you've ever dreamed of. The relationships, heartbreak, friendships and drama are just like how you experienced high school...except their boyfriends fly to paris to get them presents after a fight, and their friendships stop over sleeping with each other's boyfriends, and the drama is all set around one anonymous blogger "gossip girl" who knows everything, but nobody knows who holds the identity. If you haven't seen this show, please put it first on your list of what you will watch.
4. Revenge
This is honestly such an underrated show. The brilliance behind the writing of this series is incredible and it's a series that surprises you left and right. I'm usually one that catches on to predictability, but let me tell you this show had me gasping every other episode. A young woman goes after revenge on the family that ruined her father's life by sending him to jail and eventually him ending his life. This girl goes to considerable lengths to avenge her father's death, and you'll be watching every jaw-dropping step of the way.
5. Gotham
Gotham is still on TV every Monday, so it only has a few seasons on Netflix as of now. However, this is definitely a show for everyone. This series follows the life of Officer Gordon as he starts his life in the Gotham City Police Department. Bruce Wayne is just a child, Villains such as the Joker are only just getting started in becoming evil, and Gotham is only beginning it's corrupt nature. However, as long as Gordon is there to protect the city, you don't need to be too worried because he has it all under control--hopefully.
6. One Tree Hill
This is a show you need to give dedication to. With 9 seasons, this show will keep you busy for a while, but it is truly worth your time. It started being made in 2003, so the beginning seasons are a bit dated but still super relatable and just as awesome. This show depicts high school life and the hardships and battles of growing up, which makes it something everyone can understand. Whether you love Brooke or Peyton, Which James brother you're rooting for, or prefer the high school seasons more than the college seasons, you can agree that this series is incredible.
7. White Collar
This show not only has a super attractive main character that you cannot get enough of, but it also has action, drama, and comedy all wrapped into one. This brilliant con artist escapes jail twice, and his only way to avoid going back is to team up with an FBI officer whom had caught him both times while escaping jail. The two work on cases together, Neil's con artist skills helping crack cases, and they eventually create a strange friendship in the making. This is an exciting, fast paced show that will keep you wanting more.
8. Scandal
What better way to learn about politics and the drama that (probably doesn't, but we like to pretend) goes behind the scenes at the White House. Olivia Pope, a lawyer that can get people out of any problem, works with the White House to keep cases under wraps and fix things before they go public. However, when she and the President fall in love and begin having an affair, her job gets a little more tricky. How can she fix everyone else's lives, when she needs fixing, herself?
9. How To Get Away With Murder
This is a show written by the same writer as Scandal, and it is just as drama packed. A professor who also works as a lawyer has a team of college students that help her win any and every case she gets put in front of her, even the most tough and guilty cases. But, when her students murder her cheating husband, she realizes that hiding evidence and changing stories are a lot harder when you're the one involved, rather than the hired outsider that doesn't have too much to lose.
10. 90210
This is another typical high school show that follows relationships, friendships, and drama. The characters are bold and fun and loving, and you feel like you've become best friends with all of them by the end of the series. Filmed in California, this show has awesome scenery and a school with indoor/outdoor hallway combinations that you've always wanted in your high school. While this group of friends definitely have different personalities, they all love each other in the end.
