10 Movie Lines That Relate To College Life

Because I spend all my time in class and working on projects non-stop, I like to watch a few movies to relax on my downtime. I love comedies, for sure, but I love exploring other genres as well. Lately, I've been noticing some super relatable lines in these movies, and I thought I should share.

1.) "No, I'm not drunk at all. You're just blurry." -Pitch Perfect

You only had like four beers anyway.

2.) "You're all worthless and weak!" -Animal House

Every time I notice people staring when I sneak bread rolls into my backpack at the dining hall.

3.) "I never realize how much I like being home unless I've been somewhere really different for a while." -Juno

When you come home to your nice full-size bed, and you can finally shower in a bathroom without girls brushing their teeth outside your stall.

4.) "Get used to disappointment" -The Princess Bride

Like when you get that dreaded little blue book back the next week and you see a big fat "D" on the front.

5.) "All I know is that I'm hungry all the time." -17 Again

Your meal plan just isn't enough food.

6.) "I have to go pee due to boredom." -Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

When you could not care less about your Macroeconomics class.

7.) "This is my best friend. By best friend, I mean we occasionally grunt and stare awkwardly at each other. We even have almost conversations sometimes." -Warm Bodies

That one kid in class you kind of know from a previous class you had together, so you sit next to them and chat.

8.) "Guys, I'm eating junk and watching rubbish! You better come out and stop me!" -Home Alone

The first night after your parents drop you off at college is pure bliss.

9.) "Welcome. This is where the magic happens. And as we all know, by "magic" I mean 'nothing.'" -Easy A

When you invite people over to your dorm, and you realize how dingy your room really is.

10.)" I love college." -Monster's University

But I mean, all of this is better than high school, for sure.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
