Dating is hard, and coming up with ideas for what to do on a date might be the hardest part especially in a quiet town like Milledgeville. Never fear, though; here are ten date ideas for you and significant other to test out:
1. The Greenway
If it's a sunny day, pack a picnic and blanket, and the two of you can lay out and soak up the sun and enjoy the good ol outdoors. Or maybe bring an eno, have some good conversation, and just hang out.
2. Chilly Milly
You may not have heard, but there is now a frozen yogurt place in downtown Milledgeville where the Lemon Tree used to be. Pretty much everyone loves frozen yogurt; it's like ice cream but healthier right?
3. SweeTreats
Alright, you might say this is the same thing as #3, but let me tell you it's not. This is full on unhealthy perfection that will make you feel about 200 pounds heavier but a whole lot happier than when you walked in so why not embrace that with your significant other?
4. Baldwin Bowling Center
Bowling is a great group date or even just for two people if you wanted. You can show off your competitive side and or if you're anything like me, stick with the bumpers and pray your score hits at least 60.
5. Fun Factory
Does this sound like a place where an eight-year-old would have his or her birthday party? Maybe, but it could be the date of a lifetime if you're down for some laser tag or roller skating (if you're one of those people who has that coordination thing down.)
6. Blackbird Coffee
This is a great way to have a more relaxing date where you can just talk and hang out. Plus the coffee is great for caffeine lovers out there, but if your significant other happens to be one of the few people who doesn't like coffee, there are other options just as delicious!
7. Relaxing on Front Campus
This option is great if you're trying to save a few bucks. All you have to do is bring a blanket and lay out there or throw a frisbee around.
8. Movie Night
Not all dates involve going out and somedays you just don't want to go out after all the stress of classes. So order a pizza, stay in, and watch some Netflix.
9. Go to a Game
As students, you can get into any GCSU sports game for free, so why not take advantage of that and go watch our basketball, soccer, baseball, or one of any other teams play!
10. Campus Events
There is literally always something go on around campus, so check out those facebook events. Look at what's going on around your area, and you might just find the perfect date.
Hope this helps you in the future next time you want to go on a date with that cute girl or boy in your class but don't know what to do.
