Note: I know Christmas is not about the gifts. I am extremely grateful to my loved ones for anything they give me, regardless of whether it’s on a list or not. I just wanted to list these products so my fellow makeup lovers and I can chat about some really exciting products.
I love makeup, and I love trying new things. In light of Christmas coming up on Sunday, I wanted to list out some of the goodies I have on my wish list this year. All makeup is fun makeup, but sometimes you just have your eye on a certain product and you can’t stop thinking about it. Here’s mine.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette
This is within my top two picks for the holiday season. The warm reds, browns, golds and ivories speak to my soul. Warm eyeshadows are my favorite kind, and I’ve been drawn to this palette since it came out. I don’t own any ABH makeup yet, but this palette, with its solid reviews, looks like it will be a sure winner in my collection.
Urban Decay Naked Basics Ultimate Palette
I own all of the big naked palettes, and I own Naked Basics 1. I absolutely adore Urban Decay’s shadows. This palette’s stellar variety of warm and cool toned mattes would be absolutely loved in my routine. Plus, I collect the Naked collection. The packaging is beautiful, the shadows look to be on par with Urban Decay’s awesome formula, and it’s all matte. What more could a makeup lover ask for?
LORAC Pro Palette
Somehow I do not own this staple. I see so many YouTubers using this palette pretty often. Even my friends say that this shadow palette is a must have. The shimmers seem so buttery, and the colors speak to me. It seems like a great basic palette to own, and a good one to travel with. Is it similar to the other ones I have asked for, and that I already own? Yes. Do I care? No. Will it be loved in my collection? Yes it will, my friend.
Laura Geller Baked Gelee Highlighter in Gilded Honey
I’m a highlighting fiend. I love to glow; in fact, I love to have mirrors chilling out on my cheekbones. This gold highlight looks so beautiful. I swatch it every time I go into Ulta and I consistently end up putting it down because of the price. It’s absolutely stunning though, and if I found this little treat in my stocking this year, I would be stoked.
NYX Cosmic Metal Lip Creams
Metallic lips are all the rage this season. I love metallic lips, and I love fun colors, so why wouldn’t I ask for these little beauties? These products literally just hit stores in the fall, and the craze around them seems well deserved. The price point is excellent, and these would just be some really cool additions to my lip collection that wouldn’t dupe anything else I already own.
Too Faced Peanut Butter and Jelly Palette
Can we talk about this name? Who wouldn’t want a palette that is named after one of the most famous sandwiches that graced our childhoods? Word is that this palette smells like a PB&J, which is really cool. Too Faced makes amazing shadows, and this little palette is full of warm hues that could easily transition from winter to summer. I just find this little guy so cute, and perhaps I’m a sucker for cute things, but I want this little one for myself. How cool would it be to say you are wearing peanut butter and jelly on your eyes when someone compliments your killer eyeshadow skills?
Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours the Brave Palette
I enjoy MUR. I own one of their eyeshadow palettes, and I find the quality of the shadows pretty phenomenal for the low-price point. These shimmers look beautiful. The colors are so pretty, and I could create some awesome looks with this guy. It’s also one of the most unique palettes in MUR’s line, so that’s a bonus. It’s flying off the shelf, so if I could grab one of these to play with, I’d be a happy camper.
L’Oreal Infallible Lip Paints
I just want to try these. The nudes look so beautiful, and that teal color is speaking to me. I’m a lip product girl, so any new product that comes on the market is one that I would be willing to try. Yes, I would wear teal lipstick in public. No regrets, guys. I want to immerse myself in lip paint goodness. No shame at all.
NYX Strobe of Genius Palette
Such an array of colors are placed in this handy little palette. I love highlighters as I said, and to have a cute little palette like this to play with when I want to be extra disco ball like would be fun. That purple would be on my face 24/7, just saying. If you’ve never tried pastel hued highlights, you should. They can bring a fun twist to your look that isn’t too bold.
LORAC Alter Ego Lipgloss Collection
I like my lips looking nice and plump, so glosses are so much fun for me. I’ve never tried LORAC glosses, and this set would be a fun way to try some new ones without purchasing a ton of single glosses. This looked beautiful, and I really hope I find these somewhere soon.
