Music helps us get through our lives on a daily basis. Fueling our creativity, serving as a form of language, and bringing people together, music creates various different moods in which allows us to feel emotions. Music is simply one of the most helpful forms of therapy, especially to us college students. With heavy workloads, busy class schedules, and high involvement in extracurricular activities, the daily life of a college student can be a stressful one. Although it could be hard to explain, the lyrics to some of our favorite songs can help depict what college students constantly feel. Here Are 10 Lyrics That explain The Daily Emotions of A College Student:

10. "Know I'm great, but I'm broke as hell."

"Me, Myself, and I" by G-Eazy (feat. Bebe Rexha)

With all the college debt we will be in, of course, we're broke.

9. "It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger. Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker."

"7 Years" by Lukas Graham

Every day we push ourselves the hardest we can in order to learn something new and to get the most out of our college experience while preparing for the real world.

8. "Today I don't feel like doing anything. I just want to lay in my bed."

"Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars

Enough said for this one. Same Bruno, same.

7."Work, work, work, work, work, work."

"Work" by Rihanna (feat. Drake)

Although the song is about something much different, the lyrics say it all. As college students, we always find ourselves doing work. It sometimes feels like it never ends! It's just as confusing as understanding Rihanna in this song.

6. "But really I would rather be at home all by myself, not in the room full of people who don't even care about my well-being."

"Here" by Alessia Cara

We have all been in that situation where our friend's dragged us to a party, where we don't know anyone, and would rather be at home in bed.

5. "Let it go, let it go."

"Let it Go" by Idina Menzel

Although this can be very hard sometimes, we just have to get over things by letting them go!

4. "We're happy, free, confused, and lonely at the same time."

"22" by Taylor Swift

We are always going through a mix of emotions. Sometimes we are happy, other times we are sad. College is just a rollercoaster of emotions and we feel like we are never off the ride.

3. "Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol' days, when our momma sang us to sleep, but now we're stressed out."

"Stressed Out" by 21 Pilots

All we wish for is to be young again when we had no responsibilities. Being an adult is hard work and we sometimes don't want to be one.

2. "I just want to live while I'm alive (It's my life)."

"It's My Life" by Bon Jovi

We are still so young and want to live our lives the way we want to.

1. "Cheers to the freakin' weekend."

"Cheers" (I'd Drink to That) by Rihanna

After a rough week of classes, we are always ready to let loose and have fun on the weekends. After all, we deserve it!

All in all, music helps bring our emotions to life in which can be depicted through its lyrics. Although the daily life of a college student can be very stressful, lyrics to many songs help keep us sane while waiting to graduate.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
