COVID-19 is having many negative consequences for everyone. In particular though businesses are really hurting from the loss of business.

It may seem like there is nothing you can do to help them with still being safe, but you can! Many places are doing carryout and other things to get customers food and other products!

If you live in Cary or near the Cary area here are 10 places that you can help support!

1. Andia's Homemade Ice Cream

If you live in Cary I am assuming you already know about this because everyone loves Andias!

You may not be able to get those amazing looking milkshakes right now, but Andias is delivering quarts of your favorite ice cream to your door! However there is a bit of a wait to get it delivered after you order because it is just the 2 owners doing it but it is well worth the wait.

Salsa Fresh in Morrisville is still doing take out so if you are in the mood for some great Mexican food.

I would highly recommend their hardshell shredded steak tacos! I have ordered out twice since the stay at home order started.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
