There are many situations when a girl says something without thinking about it, but what she says, is actually completely different from what she means. These aren't bad lies, just little white ones. Here are 10 lies girls tell and what the truth actually is.

1. I have nothing to wear

Actually, you have an entire closet full of clothes but for some reason you don't want to wear any of them.

2. I'm almost there

You're meeting your friend somewhere in 5 minutes and she calls to you make sure you're almost there. “Yeah, I'm on my way, traffic is just really bad.” Meaning you're still in bed.

3. That was my last piece

You have a full pack of gum, but you don't want to share so you say it's your last piece.

4. It's so cute!

You're friend tries on the ugliest outfit and asks how she looks. “Uhhhh… great!”

5. You don't need to get me a gift

This means “I don't want to sound greedy but I really want a gift so please get me one.”

6. I'm fine

Meanwhile you're crying while watching a sad movie and eating junk food because you had the worst day ever.

7. This is my natural hair

Translation: this is my natural hair after I blow dried it, straightened it, and put tons of product in it.

8. My phone's about to die

Actually, it's fully charged but you just don't want to talk to the person you're talking to anymore.

9. I'll just have one

You say you'll just have one chip… but somehow you end up eating the whole bag.

10. I’ll pay you back

You have every intention of paying your friend back after she buys you a drink but somehow you just never get around to it.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
