Getting stressed out or worried easily is a bad habit of mine. For example, when it comes to thinking of how I did on writing an essay, or taking an exam for my classes, I am unsure of myself. This leads to me having negative thoughts pop into my head, and automatically thinking I failed. When it seems like everything is going as planned, I have confidence and I end up asking myself, “Why was I so worried?" Or I say, “I was stressing out for nothing!" When I start to feel overwhelmed, I constantly ask myself, “How will I get through this?" But I want to change my way of thinking of negative, into thinking positive more often with the challenges I will face in life.
I know that if you are stuck in a bad habit, it takes a lot of work to break the cycle. If you want change to happen, you must take baby steps every day to achieve it. Here are 10 interesting ways to begin and continue the process of positive thinking according to lifehack.org.
