When you first join the Fordham Ramily, you know that you're becoming part of something special. From Arthur Avenue to Father McShane's mustache, there are just some things that only Fordham students can fully appreciate. But that doesn't mean we still don't try to share the wealth. Here are some of the Instas that every Fordham student can't help but post:
1. The Obligatory Keating Hall Insta
In all four seasons. Every year. Let's face it, Keating is more photogenic than we can ever hope to be.
2. And the "Proud to be a future ram" Insta feat. (what else?) Keating
You know the one--young, naive high schooler standing on Eddie's. Bonus points if it was taken on Admitted Students' Day and/or you are wearing maroon.
3.VSCO-filtered picture of assorted buildings in Manhattan
How else are you supposed to gloat about your fancy NYC lifestyle? The ones not worthy of the gram will still be put to use composing 30% of your ram-pun-themed freshman year Facebook album.
4. Riding the Ram
Speaking of freshman year, riding the ram is a rite of passage. It's the first ~rebellious~ thing you do in college when you're still new enough to campus to actually feel threatened by the concept getting doc-ed.
5. Picture at a football game
Even if you've only been to one, you most likely posted a picture from it. And you definitely captioned it with some sort of "FU" reference.
6. Broadway Playbill
Most likely Lion King, Book of Mormon, or Wicked. "I am a cultured college student. Did I mention I go to school in New York City?"
7. Pugsley's Pizza
Even if you haven'e posted your own picture from Pusgley's, odds are you've been on their Instagram feed. If for some reason you haven't, use this as an excuse to eat more pizza. Love is it.
8. You meal on Arthur
Whether it's an aesthetically pleasing shot of a pear salad from Michelangelo's or a "candid" of you eating a Palombo pastry, you feel obligated to prove that (thank goodness) food at Fordham isn't all Sodexo.
9. Colorful shot of the Botans
A.K.A. the New York Botanical Gardens. Most likely taken during one of your workouts because, let's face it, there's no better way to simultaneously tackle student debt and the freshman 15 than by getting free entry as a runner.
And, last but not least...
10. Picture in front of decorative Lights
Whether they're lining a tapestry in Walsh or the staircase of a Finley loft, whether they're hanging polaroids above a freshman dorm bed or being utilized as some classy living room decor in an off-campus apartment, decorative lights are almost as near and dear to Fordham as the ram. And no night out is complete without a picture in front of them before you go.
