qNo, a logophile isn't a type of reptile. A logophile is a person who is a lover of words. What do you get someone who simply loves words? These types of people love the idea that a simple thought or phrase can impact someone for the rest of their lives. You may see them scribbling quotes into their notebooks or even song lyrics that seem to have struck a chord within them. In this list you will find exactly what you need to give the special logophile in your life.

1. A Rite in the Rain notebook. These notebooks are truly amazing. Not only is their paper waterproof, but there are various styles you can find online to truly fit your writer's preferences. They'll be thankful for a notebook they can take anywhere that can withstand the elements. Also, smudged ink is no more!

2. Egghead by Bo Burnham. If your friend loves comedic writing, get them this book. Bo Burnham is a comedian who decided to write his own book of poems. These are funny at first glance but take a deep turn before you even expect it.

3. We Don't Have a Compass But I'm Sure We'll Find Home: A Collection of Poems written by Raquel Isabelle De Alderete. This collection of poems is so unique. The author collected anonymous secrets and wrote poems to the secrets she was given. The words in this collection of poems will make you fall in love with the English language. Definitely an inspiration striking piece of work. My sister and I still bond over several of the poems she has written in this book.

4. Stuck In Love. This movie is literally a romantic comedy about a family of writers. It's going to be taken off of Netflix, so now is the perfect time to purchase it for your writer friends. The script has beautiful moments of writing in it, much like this moment below.

5. Out Of Print Clothing. Book covers on sweatshirts? Is this Heaven? Sporting your favorite book on a shirt is one of the coolest things that mankind has ever come up with. Also, this store is pretty awesome because they donate a book for every item they sell to Books for Africa. You can save the world one sweatshirt or pair of socks at a time. The Little Prince sweatshirt is definitely on my Christmas list this year.

6. Take them out for coffee! Coffee shops can be one of the most relaxing places in the world for writers. There is background noise and easy music to listen to and the invigorating smell of fresh coffee. No writer can resist a trip to a coffee shop, especially if it's with their friends.

7. One of my favorite gifts that I was ever given was a First Lines of Literature mug. It's a mug with the first lines of classic novels. Every time I drink from it, I get a little dose of inspiration with my coffee or tea! A great idea for writers.

8. Bananagrams! This game is so much fun for people who love words. It's basically on-the-go Scrabble! Tons of fun for people who love words and games!

9. On Writing by Stephen King. This is a great guidebook for writers. King speaks about how the revision process is a necessary evil and how to better yourself as a writer. It's helpful, and entertaining!

10. AquaNotes. This item is amazing! Have you ever had a thought come to you in the shower, but you had nowhere to write it? You will never have that problem again with AquaNotes! Your logophile will love this as a Christmas gift for sure!

If you have a logophile in your life, make sure to grab one of these items for the holiday season. Luckily, they all can be purchased online for under twenty dollars! Don't hesitate to show your logophile that you love that they love words. You'll make their year with these gifts.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
