Let me start of by saying this, I love my job and I believe I'm good at my job. Though I've learned over my three years working in retail, there is one time of the year that everyone can't wait to be over: the Holidays. The hours are longer and people seem to get harder to deal with and anything that can go wrong might go wrong. So here is how I feel about working during the holidays at my store....
1. When you have to wake up earlier
2. When Sit In Traffic Just to get there
3. When you have to find parking
4. When You walk in and see all the people
5. When you clock in
6. When Someone messes up things you just fixed
7. When you tell someone everything you have is out, and they ask you to check the back.
8. When everyone wants your help at once
9. When your shift is over
10. Knowing you have to go back the next day
11. You go back because you like money during holidays
Holidays are just about here and it's the wonderful time of the year where you see all kinds of people and get to deal with them, but just keep in mind after all the item corrects and returns and exchanges your job in retail will go back to normal hours and normal pace days.
