Everybody knows that comforting feeling that comes with telling your friends about something really awkward and embarrassing that you did and having someone else say that they've been there. The fact of the matter is that the lower half of the Millennial generation still hasn't quite learned how to become fully-functioning adults-- how are we expected to get a good job and pay taxes when most of our time is literally spent learning how to interact with people in basic social situations? Here's a list of some of the embarrassing things you do that you think nobody else does:
1. Saying "You too" when the waiter tells you to enjoy your food.
2. Picking your nose.
3. Accidentally first bumping someone when they go in for a handshake (or vice-versa)
4. When someone holds the door for you, but you're far away.
5. "Hey how are you?" "nothing much".
6. When you think you see your friend in public and do something weird and then realize that it's not actually your friend.
7. Accidentally liking a really old picture posted by an acquaintance.
8. Pretending to be into various books/bands that are brought up in conversation.
9. Licking yourself clean when there are no napkins around.
10. Peeing in the shower.
It's easy to think that you're weird or socially awkward because of embarrassing things like these. Remember that nobody's perfect-- the rest of the world is right there with you. We're all still kind of learning how to not make complete fools of ourselves.
