College can be amazing, tough, frustrating and exciting. Here are 10 gifs that perfectly represent what it's like to be a college student.
1. Waking up for an 8 AM.
It's hard enough getting up for a 10AM class, let alone at 8. Early classes are just a no-no.
2. Sitting through a General Education call that you are not interested in.
We all know that Gen Ed's are important to making us well-rounded students, but sometimes sitting through these classes is the worst since it's usually a class you would never normally take yourself.
3. When you have a test in the class you're most struggling in.
Two of the worst things are when you forget to study for your test and then realize you have no time to and when you study your butt off and still do not understand anything that you will be tested on.
4. Trying to write your professors name down on your paper is a challenge in itself.
I can't be the only one who's accidentally misspelled this while typing a heading for my essay.
5. When the dining hall food doesn't live up to your expectations that day.
This happens a fair amount. The solution is to stick to foods you know you like.
6. When the dining hall food surprises you with how delicious your food tastes.
Some things at the dining hall are actually delicious, but those are usually the things that are never on the menu. Go figure.
7. Falling asleep with the window open, only to wake up because of the noise on campus.
This happens too often. The worst thing is when the maintenance crew is using power tools. Those are extremely loud. Good luck sleeping through that.
8. When you're supposed to be working as a group but your group members exclude you.
I never understood why people did this. It happened throughout middle and high school and now here. It just doesn't make sense.
9. This is an important class for your major... But I'm sorry, what? I really just don't understand any of what we are discussing.
This is the correct time to contact the professor. Just do it, you'll thank yourself for it later because you are probably saving your grade and your GPA. I learned that talking to your professors on a regular basis is a great way to insure you are up to date and understanding what is happening in class.
10. When the class gets cancelled.
Cancelled classes are the best classes. If it's your first class of the day, that means you get to sleep in. If it's the last class of the day you get to go out and have fun early. If it's one in the middle, you get a nice study break.
