10 Frosh Worthy Lyrics That Describe Your College Life

Every good college party (frosh) has a playlist filled with songs that keep everyone groovin'. If you listen to the lyrics of most of these songs you might find your life being described perfectly.

1. "Cause I do this every night, I wanna do this every night."

All Night Longer- Sammy Adams

An accurate representation of what you tell yourself the nights you're up late studying. Lying to yourself can only bring you so far, but hey, every little bit helps.

2. "Somebody come get her, she's dancing like a stripper."

Come Get Her- Rae Sremmurd

Ladies, let's be honest with ourselves and admit to dancing in front of a mirror in those jeans that make your butt look fantastic. Whether you booty-pop to the radio in the shower or grind like Beyoncé on the dance floor, every girl has that "sexy dance" that makes it looks like she needs to hit the toilets.

3. "Stackin' gouda, feta, chedda cheese in ravioli."

Jordan Belfort- Wes Walker

What you wish you were eating in the dining hall. What you're actually stacking is Cheerios, Captain Crunch, and Lucky Charms in chocolate milk because cheese pizza got boring.

4. "All my friends are wasted."

All My Friends- Snakehips

When you volunteer to be a DD for your friends you will pick up two types of people. Type 1: they are super happy and keep telling you how thankful they are and how much they love you. Type 2: they puke in a plastic bag and want to rally, all while trying to finish a McDouble. So much for studying for your math test that's tomorrow.

5. "You're my right hand, you're my go to."

Right Hand- Drake

We all have that one friend who is always up for anything, whether it's staying in and studying, a night out, trying to exercise, or movie marathons. To that one friend-- you da best.

6. "No driving, no sleeping, live it up like it's the weekend."

No Sleep- Wiz Khalifa

The struggle of not having a car on campus becomes prominent when you run out of important things like soap, deodorant or cookie dough. When you finally get a floor mate to take you to Walmart it's usually a week later, eleven at night, and it's been at least 3 days since you last showered. This makes for an exciting weekend.

7. "Is it too late now to say sorry?"

Sorry- Justin Bieber

Something that's always necessary to say to your roommate when you do stupid things like: leave a half eaten sandwich in the trash can for two weeks, eat the last 10 of their cheesiest Cheetos from the bottom of the bag, turn on the lights when they're already asleep, watch the latest New Girl episode without them.

8. "Turn that TV off, break that boom-box out."

House Party- Sam Hunt

Sometimes Netflix gets boring so you have to flip the switch on your Goodwill boom-box and dance around the room like a crazy person. I'm talking an actual "dance like nobody is watching" moment, then when you hear your door opening, sit on the couch and stare at the wall like nothing happened.

9. "I don't give a f***, I don't I don't I don't give a f***."

I Don't F*** with You- Big Sean

There are so many times in college when it's physically impossible to give any fucks whatsoever. Be the cat, nuff' said.

10. "I'm getting money like I'm post to be."

Post to Be- Omarion (feat. Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko)

As a college student you're always "broke", even if you have a job. When you go home and Uncle Bill slips you a $5, you probably start tearing up.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
