From bookworms to gamers, we all desire and dream of our perfect paradise. We all imagine an ideal place to be. For many, these are real places that they imagine. For others, these are fictional universes from different platforms. For example: films, video games, novels, plays/musicals, comic books and many other forms of creative expression. To me, this is honestly a beautiful fact. I am already a fan of many forms of creative expression.

Over my years of discovering these forms, I have actively joined many forms of expression. There are many universes that I would love to be apart of and too many to name. Therefore, I have decided to narrow them down to ten universes. Ten. For anyone who knows me, they know that was very difficult to accomplish. For those who also know me, if you do not see Disney in this list, this is because I would love to be in all Disney film universes. There are too many to name and that will be a separate list (with the exception of two).

To summarize how I feel, I will implement my favorite quote by George R.R. Martin:

This is an amazing quote that I always live by and I love its phrasing very much. Something that these universes have in common is that there are many unique layers to them that make them amazing fandoms/expressions to join.

The 10 Fictional Universes I Want To Visit

1. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Vision of 1920’s New York City/Long Island

The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite novels of all time. I also love the 1920's history, styles, artitecture, arts and music a lot.

Attending one of Gatsby's lavish parties: bucket list confirmed.


2. The Fallout Universe

Exploring the Capital Wasteland and The Commonwealth while listening to old radio tunes on my Pipboy device? Yes, please.



3. The Harry Potter Universe

Living in Hogwarts was every Harry Potter fan's dream (and still is).



4. The Universe of Steven Universe

"We are the Crystal Gems, we'll always save the day!" Crime fighting Crystal Gems at work 24/7!

5. Whoniverse (The Universe of Doctor Who)

I would take the Tardis, the Doctor's time machine disguised as a Police Box, for a time traveling spin any day!

6. Runeterra (The League of Legends Universe)

See you all on the Rift.

7. Runescape (A.K.A. Gielinor)

Endless exploration in a beautiful world? Already there.

8.Wonderland

Falling down rabbit holes is a forte of mine.

9. Neverland

Take me to Neverland, Peter Pan!

10. Marvel Universe

This universe is an endless adventure of its own.
