Literally anyone could do a better job.

It's no secret that Donald Trump is under qualified to be running our country. He's shown himself to be egotistical and so full of hatred that it's a wonder that our country has yet to go up in flames with him at the helm. That being said, I've compiled a list of fictional characters from movies and TV shows that I believe would no doubt do a better job than our current commander-in-chief.

1. Boss Baby

He went to business school and, as seen in the movie, he is clearly a great negotiator. He's also got a huge heart. Boss Baby is a natural-born leader and would make a great candidate for president.

2. Ariel

In "The Little Mermaid" she may be a bit clueless about the way the human world works, but her curiosity and independence would make her a great leader. At the very least she would be extremely protective of the environment, especially our oceans.

3. Michael Scott

The main character in "The Office", Michael Scott would lead our country in a much more compassionate way than our current president. He is caring, appreciates diversity, and always makes sure his employees are doing their best.

4. The Powerpuff Girls

There's no one I'd trust more to be in charge than Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup. Think about it: they save the world on a daily basis, they're all about girl power, and they're not afraid to stand up for what's right.

5. Spencer Shay

As the quirky older brother of Carly on the Nickelodeon show "iCarly", Spencer showed a great amount of responsibility by raising his little sister all by himself. He's creative, charming, and as a sculptor, there's no doubt that the arts would be at the top of his priority list.

6. Elle Woods

In "Legally Blonde", Elle Woods shows everyone that a woman can be both beautiful and intelligent. She proves herself as a student at Harvard Law School with her determination and fierceness. She'd make a fashionable and fair president.

7. Alex Karev

8. Juno

A country with Juno as president would definitely be a country worth living in. She's funny, wise beyond her years, and extremely smart. She knew that giving her baby up for adoption was the right thing to do, no matter the personal cost.

9. Mike Wazowski

While he wasn't initially excited about taking care of a child at the beginning of "Monster's Inc.", he eventually grew to care about her. He's very hardworking and passionate about his job and loyal to his best friend. Sounds like presidential material to me.

10. Lorelai Gilmore

As you can see, in my opinion, almost anyone (real or fictional) would be a better choice for the highest office in our country than Donald Trump.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
