10 Dramatic Television Shows Everyone Should Watch At Least Once

There are a lot of TV shows out there that people decide to write off because they seem "too dramatic". I don't know about anybody else, but whether it be reality or fictional television, drama is probably the best part of a show (in my opinion). There are ten shows in particular that everybody seems to write off as being overly dramatic, but I think that everybody should watch them at least once.

1. Dance Moms

Don't lie: you've probably watched Dance Moms some time in your life. What you probably saw was a group of cute 11-12 years old who are extraordinary dancers, but more importantly, you saw a lot of temperamental moms who get upset about their child not getting a solo. Not only are the moms outspoken, but so is their dance teacher, Abby Lee Miller. Despite all this, Dance Moms is one of the most hilarious and entertaining shows I've ever seen (check it out on Netflix).

2. The Bachelor/Bachelorette

This is one that everyone should have heard of once before (all over Twitter, probably): The Bachelor/Bachelorette. It involves lots of tears, fake people, and true love (that doesn't last a couple months past the show, usually). This next season with Ben Higgins should be interesting though, so make sure you watch out for that!

3. Pretty Little Liars

This show is pretty much famous for being overly dramatic (and seeing how long they can wait until they give you information about A before they lose all their viewers). Personally, I got bored and quit watching it awhile ago. But if you're very patient and like drama, this show is for you!

4. Keeping Up With The Kardashians

This one is another obvious one: The Kardashians. With all of the hype about Caitlin Jenner, this show is bound to get a lot more views in the future. Plus, I'm pretty sure there isn't any family as dramatic as the Kardashian family.

5. America's Next Top Model

I'll just use one quote to describe this one: "Three beautiful girls stand before me, but I only have two photos in my hands".

6. Bad Girls Club

If you haven't seen the show, you've probably seen the "I didn't get no sleep cuz of y'all" video that has been made into a popular Vine. That is probably one of the more mild things that have happened on this show. I used to watch this all the time in middle school and just be shocked by the stupidity: but stupidity does make for a good reality TV show!

7. Are You The One

This is the show where each contestant on the show has a perfect match based on psychological tests, and if every contestant finds their perfect match before ten weeks is up they get to split a large cash prize. It is not only an interesting contest, but also very entertaining.

8.Bachelor In Paradise

Same idea as the Bachelor, except in this show it is a combination of contests who competed on the Bachelor (and some who haven't) and they're all trying to find love amongst each other, which increases the conflict and drama.

9. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo

Although I'm not sure that this one is still on the air, it was a very funny show about a family of rednecks who do hilarious things.

10. My Strange Addiction

I'm not sure if this one is dramatic as it is gross. Either way, it is just as cringeworthy as some of the other shows on this list. Eating drywall isn't even the grossest of the addictions I've seen on this show before!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
