10 Disney Lyrics That Will Help You Through Life

Unless you have been living under a rock your entire life, you have to have a favorite Disney movie. Mine is Beauty and the Beast. Disney movies may seem like a childish thing, but they have a lot of great mottos to live by. Their music alone is great for that. It has a lot of inspiring lyrics that are helpful throughout life.

1. “And the fears that once controlled me can’t get to me at all” ~ Frozen

This lyric is a great one because it can truly help anyone. Letting your fears get in the way of your life is never good, so having this reminder is so helpful.

2. “When will my reflection show who I am inside?” ~ Mulan

Everyone has moments in their life when they aren't happy about some part of their life. The truth is that you will find a way to come to peace about that part. You will get through it.

3. “No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dreams that you wish will come true” ~ Cinderella

Who doesn't love a little Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo? If you just keep holding on to your dreams and continue to believe in yourself, you can do anything.

4. “Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities, forget about your worries and your strife” ~ The Jungle Book

You too can live a carefree life if you act a little bit more like our favorite bear.

5. “A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down, in the most delightful way” ~ Mary Poppins

Everything in life is dependent upon your view of the situation. When you turn something on its head, it comes out completely differently.

6. “But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger. You’ll learn things you never knew, you never knew” ~ Pocahontas

You have to treat people like people and not just how they look. You never know what a person is going through at a particular moment.

7. “It’s our problem-free philosophy. Hakuna Matata” ~ Lion King

Everyone needs something to live by, and why not have it be Hakuna Matata?

8. “I'll be there someday. I can go the distance. I will find my way If I can be strong. I know every mile will be worth my while. When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong” ~ Hercules

This is just another reminder that you have to follow your heart no matter what because you can do anything if you do.

9. “When there's a smile in your heart, there's no better time to start. Think of all the joy you'll find. When you leave the world behind, and bid your cares goodbye. You can fly, you can fly! You can fly, you can fly! You can fly!” ~ Peter Pan

Peter Pan is right there is no better time to start something than in the present. Why wait to do something when you can do it now?

10. “Put your faith in what you believe in most” ~ Tarzan

Faith is a powerful thing. Whether it be religious or just having faith in yourself. You need to have faith that what you believe can happen.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
