Fall is loved for a variety of reasons. Some people love the weather, football season, the changing colors of the leaves, and/or the Halloween festivities. Whatever it may be, this season offers many activities we can use for planning dates. These are just some date ideas you and your partner would love to take advantage of while the time is right:
1. Stay in for the night and watch movies
October is one of the best months for a movie night. The chilly weather is a great excuse to stay in and bundle up with blankets. It's also the perfect time to watch all of your favorite Halloween classics like Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown.
2. Go to a football game together
Get dressed in your sports gear and head to the football stadium. Whether you're attending a high school, college, or NFL game, you and your partner are sure to have a great time.
3. Meet for coffee and try the seasonal flavors
Go to your favorite shop, grab a table for two, and enjoy each other's company. It's not really fall until you've had at least one pumpkin spice latte or salted caramel mocha.

Grab a tent and head out to the mountains with your partner. This is a great opportunity to take a relaxing hike or sit around a campfire and make s'mores.
5. Pick apples together and make a homemade treat
Visit an orchard and pick the best looking apples. Use these apples to make an apple pie, caramel apples, or even apple cider. Nothing tastes better than homemade goodies.

Enjoy a day filled with crafts, food, and entertainment at a local festival. While you're taking in the sights and sounds, be sure to share a warm cup of apple cider.
7. See a movie at the drive-in
Check out what's playing at the local drive-in. Bring some blankets and pillows and pop the trunk for a movie under the stars. Make sure to grab your favorite movie treats and snuggle up.
8. Go pumpkin picking and carve jack-o-lanterns
Visit a pumpkin patch with your partner and find the perfect pumpkins. You can even take a hayride or get lost in a corn maze for some more fun. Take your pumpkins home and see which one of you can carve the best jack-o-lantern.

Check out the haunted houses, hayrides, or amusement park attractions in the area. Be adventurous and try one that neither of you have ever done. Hang on to your date and prepare to get spooked.
10. Attend a Halloween party together
Prepare for the Halloween party that you and your date have been invited to. Browse the shops and find your "perfect couple" costume. Get dressed up, have fun playing the part, and show off how great you are together.
This season, like every season, has it's own group of activities that we have to participate in during a certain time of the year. Unfortunately, these are the things that we love the most. We need to take advantage of the season and do all of our favorite things with our favorite people before its too late.
