Summer is finally here, and what’s better than spending some one-on-one time with your man? Before we get started, I need to emphasize how often we spend money on material things; gifts that are used for only a short time, and then are lost or thrown away. The most important thing we have in this life is time, and that’s why we should be spending it with the people we love the most. Gifts seem to be part of a package deal when it comes to dates. Does your man like to play Call of Duty all day? Or is he the type who likes to hunt in his spare time? Either way, your guy is going to love this date idea. Time to get his butt up off the couch and start loading the paintball gun.

Is your man a sports lover? A local baseball game is where it’s at. Like our last date idea, this one also involves beer. And hotdogs. Need I say more?
6. Fishing.
There’s nothing more peaceful than waking up before the sun, getting out the fishing gear, and spending a nice quiet morning posted up by the lake. In a world that’s constantly bustling, this is a great idea to slow down time a bit. Bonus points for being able to watch the sun rise together.
7. Rent a jet ski or a paddleboat.
This is the perfect date idea for the man who loves water. I’m talking about the guys who you can always find out on a boat as soon as the weather gets warm. Spice up the boating life just a bit with a fast jet ski, or slow down and get a paddleboat that you guys can ride around in together!
8. Visit an amusement park
If you have a man who’s just a little kid at heart, then look no further: you’ve found your perfect date idea. What’s better than holding hands with your boyfriend as he drags you around the whole place to ride all the roller coasters? The smile on his face will be worth it!
9. Bowling and laser tag. Yes, both of them!
I grouped this one together, mostly because these two things are often found together. Are you dating your high school sweetheart? Do you guys need a little reminder of what life was like before you were able to hit the big-kid activities like the bar or the club? Bring on a little flash from the past and rekindle your long-term love with someone simple and low-key.
10. Scavenger hunt.
This is for the ladies who still have no idea how to treat their man to a unique date night. Nothing says “I love you” more than putting together a scavenger hunt for your guy! The time and effort you spend putting it together is proof enough that you love him, and it’ll be fun having him discover all the little things you thought to include.
These date ideas mean that you get to spend time with your man, doing the things that he loves. Our men spoil us, and it’s important that we return the favor.
