There are over 700 Pokemon throughout the six regions and there's bound to be over a hundred more when "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" become available in North America. There are strong Pokemon like Garchomp, legendary Pokemon like Mew, and there are even some useless ones like Farfetch'd. However, us trainers tend to overlook the adorable Pokemon. They tend to be helpful in battle, but they also look cute and act endearing and lovable.
Here are 10 Pokemon that are too cute not to love (or catch).
1. Pachirisu
Who doesn't love a tiny, blue, electric-type squirrel? Pachirisu is the squirrel version of Pikachu and are found in forests. Watch out though, it has a great amount of electricity flowing in its body. If it builds up enough charge, it may shock other Pokemon.
2. Teddiursa
Upon seeing this Pokemon, I could not contain myself. I always wished I could keep this Pokemon as my own personal teddy bear. When it licks honey off its hands, this Pokemon reminds me of Winnie the Pooh because of its obsession with honey alone. If you want to keep this cute Pokemon I suggest you not evolve it into Ursaring, just putting that out there.
3. Dedenne
This tiny orange mouse is volting with energy (yes, I used that pun because it's an Electric-type). It looks like a descendant from the Pikachu family. Sadly, it's not. But, it doesn't evolve so your hearts can melt over this Pokemon for hours on end.
4. Oshawott
This Pokemon was my starter in "Pokemon Black" and I definitely have my reasons. It's adorable, and, along with penguins, sea otters are adorable creatures. Plus, it has the resemblance of a teddy bear. While Dewott is cute in some ways, Oshawott definitely won my heart in this game (sorry Snivy and Tepig).
5. Eevee
Ugh, its cry alone is what made me fall in love with Eevee. And yes, while Glaceon and Flareon are my favorite Eeveelutions, Eevee definitely looks graceful in more ways than one. Its slender, brown fur, bushy tail and collar, and a charming face makes this Pokemon too cute for words. Its small size barely takes up space on the battlefield.
6. Togepi

7. Piplup
Like I said before, I love penguins. Its light blue feathers looks like the Pokemon is wearing a jacket with over-sized buttons and the blue fur kinda resembles a cape. This Pokemon can kick butt and look cute doing it too.
8. Minccino
This Pokemon is a fun-looking chinchilla. It likes to clean and keeps things tidy. Its long bushy tail should not be overlooked, as its signature move Tail Slap will surely slap enemies away. But come on, look at its eyes! I cannot seem to resist them!
9. Chikorita
This adorable Grass-type Pokemon was my very first Pokemon when I had my very first Pokemon game, "Pokemon Gold" and I kept that tradition going when I played "Pokemon HeartGold." Its little bulbs resemble and necklace and its little leaf is cute to not ignore. I had a lot of fun with this Pokemon (until it evolved into Bayleef that is). Its affection is what lured me into this Pokemon. It may be cute but it's Vine Whip is powerful.
10. Happiny
This is known as the "Playhouse Pokemon." Whoever does not want to play with this cute little egg-like creature is crazy. It's the baby-version of Chansey and it brings a smile to my face no matter what. It's a soft, pink, egg with what looks like a ponytail. Despite its tiny size, it has the ability to carry very heavy items around. This Pokemon definitely makes me happy.
Honorable Mentions: Cleffa, Snivy, Pikachu, Squirtle, Spheal, Emolga, Fennekin, Whooper, Shaymin, Mudkip, Sentret, Pichu, Azurill, Marill, and Jigglypuff.
Disclaimer: these are MY favorite cute Pokemon. There are others out there, but these are only a few. Some can agree or disagree with me
