Country music is always a hit or miss. Some people love it and others can’t stand it. It really has grown in popularity over the past 10 years but some still won’t give it a chance. I used to be that person, Myspace music section read “Music is life!! I love anything..except country….” But that all changed in a car ride home from a skiing trip with one of my best friends as she showed me her newest country playlist on her iPod Video. Ever since that faithful day, I’ve been hooked. There’s usually one song will get the ball rolling, and for me, it was "Do I" by Luke Bryan.
I like to pride myself on making some killer playlists so I hope you can give some of these a chance.
1. Eric Church
You'll never see this guy without his signature aviators (no matter if it's in or outside), it adds a little mystery in your music experience.Suggestions: "Springsteen," "Jack Daniels," "Like A Wrecking Ball"
2. Billy Currington
Need some new material for your summertime playlist? I would definitely go with with some Billy Currington.
Suggestions: "Good Directions," "Nowhere Town," "Let Me Down Easy"
3. Eli Young Band
One of my personal favorites-- Listen and you'll understand.Suggestions: "Guinevere," "Dust," "Drunk Last Night," "Turn it On"
4. Canaan Smith
Canaan Smith is kind of new to the country music scene, so he doesn't have too many songs out. But his music makes you feel like you're at a small country bar in Tennessee.Suggestions: "Love You Like That," "One of Those"
5. Frankie Ballard

Suggestions: "Young & Crazy," "It All Started with a Beer"
6. Chris Young
Top three favorite singers of mine at the moment. If anything, listen to his newest album, and it gives all the feels.Suggestions: "Gettin' You Home," "What If I Stay," "Alone Tonight," "I’m Comin’ Over," "A.M."
7. Chase Rice

Suggestions: "Look At My Truck," "Best Beers of Our Lives," "Carolina Can," "Ready Set Roll"
8. Old Dominion
They just came out with their first album this fall, I see a very good future for this band (aka I'm obsessed).Suggestions: "Song for Another Time," "Nowhere Fast," "Shut Me Up," "Half Empty"
9. Thomas Rhett
OK, I'm sure plenty of you have heard of this guy, because he is perfection. If I had to name my favorite singer at the moment, it would have to be Thomas Rhett. Side Note: him and his wife are "goals." So if you don't want to listen to his music, at least follow him on Instagram, you won't regret it.
Suggestions: "Die a Happy Man," "Anthem," "It Goes Like This," All American Middle Class White Boy," "Playing with Fire," "Crash and Burn," (really anything)
10. Sam Hunt

Suggestions: "Leave the Night On," "Take Your Time," "Make You Miss Me," "Break Up in a Small Town," "Saturday Night," "Single for the Summer," (again, really anything).
