10 Bible Verses That You Need To Hear

We all need some encouragement from time to time. Whether you need to be reminded of God's unfailing love, you need to be reassured that there is hope, or you just need to hear a kind word, here are 10 Bible verses that have the power to mean something to everyone:

1. I have told you these things so that in me you may find peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:3

If God can conquer death, He can lead us through all trials and tribulations that we are faced with throughout our lives. Our true peace comes solely through God. No matter what battles we’re faced with, we can take heart knowing that God loves us and He will carry us through.

2. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.Romans 8:28

Everything in our life happens for a reason. Whatever that reason may be, it’s for our greater good. God truly desires the absolute best for us.

3.Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice.John 5:28

No matter what you’re struggling with in life - addiction of some sort, depression, anxiety, etc., turn to God. God knows the key to your heart, and He will reveal Himself to you. Faith in God will set you free.

4. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6

Be strong and stand in your truth. Don’t let people or the standards of society stop you from pursuing your best life. God is always by your side.

5. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58

Always do the work of the Lord. Spread the Good News wherever you are and in whatever you are doing. You never know who needs to see God through you.

6. Trust in the Lord with your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust God in all aspects of your life. No matter what circumstance, God always knows what’s best for us. As long as you love and trust God, He will lead you in the right direction.

7. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

Tell God what’s on your heart. No matter how small your problem, God cares, and He is eager to love you and help you through it.

8. My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life. Psalm 119:50

God has conquered the world. Our comfort in our suffering is that our battle has already been won by Jesus Christ on the cross.

9. And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 1 John 5:14

Our life is in God’s hands and He hears all our prayers. God fulfills all our needs according to His purpose.

10. Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever. Psalm 136:26

In all things in your life, give thanks and praise God. We as humans take so many blessings for granted, especially the greatest blessing of all: God’s love. We are so fortunate to have God who has an undying love for each one of us.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
