10 Best Places to Eat Around Campus

I've tried a lot of food places during my time at SCU, and these are my favorites.

I'm a senior now, and so therefore I thought I should share a little of bit of my wisdom with the newest batch of Broncos. If you're anything like me, you love food. And I get it; sometimes we get tired of Benson food (although you have to admit, it's pretty good generally). So if you want a break from Benson and don't feel like cooking, keep reading.

1. Jasmine Thai ($$)

Though a bit more expensive, this restaurant is definitely worth it if you like Thai food! It serves a variety of different Thai foods, both traditional and contemporary.

2. White Elephant ($)

White Elephant, in my opinion, is better than Jasmine Thai. But if you like Thai food, White Elephant is a cheaper option.

3. Ike's Love and Sandwiches ($)

This sandwich shop has a wide range of sandwiches, from meat filled to vegan. This restaurant is a personal favorite of mine.

4. The Counter ($$)

The Counter lets you create your own burger, sandwich, or salad, and even your own milkshake! They have a large variety of options, including making your milkshake an "adult shake" for those of you who are over 21. This restaurant is great for parties.

5. In-n-Out ($)

An obvious choice... they certainly know what a hamburger is all about.

6. Maggiano's Little Italy ($$)

If you love Italian food like I do, this one's for you. Another perfect place for parties and larger gatherings. Also, the restaurant does a deal where if you order one pasta plate, you get to take another one home for free!

7. Pluto's Restaurant ($)


A healthier option, this restaurant allows you to create your own salad or sandwich.

8. Viva Taqueria ($)

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food for a great price, this is the place to go.

9. Mio Vicino ($$)

This delicious Italian restaurant has a wide variety of pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, and wines.

10. Bill's Cafe ($)

The perfect brunch spot! It gets busy quickly though, so I'd recommend going early, unless you don't mind waiting.
