To everyone in college and those who recently graduated, I want to clear up one stereotype: not everyone meets their significant others in college, and that's absolutely okay! If you're still searching, here's a little something to remind you that you're not alone and that you won't die alone if you haven't found that special someone by the end of college. In fact, it might actually be a good thing.
1. Nothing is tying you to any one place. So, move, travel, get out of here!
2. Your biggest possible commitment is a dog.
3. Building your career comes first.
4. Let's be honest . . . relationships can be expensive for both parties.
5. Compromise is nonexistent.
6. The biggest fight that you are a part of is the fight to stay awake on Mondays.
7. You don't have to ask for permission. So, cross skydiving off of your bucket list while you still can.
8. Relationships can often stunt growth and changes. Let's be honest— in your 20s, growth is inevitable.
9. Your weekends are as free or as booked as you want.
10. You don't have to impress anyone.
So, if you find yourself single as you throw your cap at graduation, then take advantage of the benefits while they are still around. You have the rest of your life to find the right person and who knows— it might even be your sky diving instructor! So, stop stressing and just enjoy life. The rest will fall into place.
