With summer right around the corner, it's hard not to think about all of the wonderful places to travel to. Here is a list of some of the most beautiful places in the world in no particular order. Start packing!

1. Bora Bora

Bora Bora is a South Pacific island in Tahiti. It was once a volcano and has since formed a barrier reef. It is tropical and its clear waters make it serene.

2. Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world by total area, is another tropical and warm destination. It is between Zambia and Zimbabwe and transports 1,088 cubic meters of water per second.

3. Iceland

Iceland is full of glaciers, waterfalls, thermal pools, and volcanoes. Its is very diverse and beautiful.

4. The Rainbow Mountains of Zhangye Danxia, China

The minerals in the sandstone give these mountains their radiant colors. Imagine hiking through the brilliant red, greed, and yellow colored rocks.

5. Neuschwanstein Castle

This nineteenth-century castle is located in southern Germany. It is beautiful and inspired Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty castle.

6. Alaska

The 49th state of the United States if beautiful and full of natural diversity.

7. Machu Picchu, Peru

The Inca civilization thrived here in 1450 and now peaks through the clouds. The center of the civilization is a hike up the mountain ridge.

8. The Ancient Temple of Ta Prohm

This ancient temple in Ta Prohm, Cambodia was once a Buddhist monastery and university. The temple has been left untouched.

9. Marble Caverns of Carrera Lake

Patagonia, Chile is the home of this beautiful cave network. The walls of these caves are water-filled marble.

10. Hiller Lake

This pink lake can be found in western Australia. The pink color comes from an algae that lives in this lake.
