Yay!!! No more class! Time to kick back and enjoy the summer vibes with your friends. Although summer is literally the greatest time of the year, the unrelenting heat can sometimes bring you down. Here are 11 super easy and very fun ways to beat back the summer heat!
1. Have a water gun fight!
What says summer more than busting out the old water guns and pretending you're in elementary school again!?
2. Head to the beach!
Having a beach day is the perfect way to forget that you're legitimately dying from the heat! The cool ocean breeze and refreshing water is just what you need.
3. Make yourself a nice refreshing drink!
A nice, cool, homemade drink is just what the doctor ordered on a sweaty summer day. A pitcher of ice cold lemonade can work miracles on a hot person.
4. A dip in the pool!
Similar to the beach, the pool will provide the nice energizing feel of cool water. If you or your friends have one, you won't even have to drive too far!
5. Going ice skating!
There probably won't be any outdoor ice skating, but some indoor skating is a great way to cool down while staying active!
6. Lock yourself in a freezer!
You simply won't be hot when you're locked in a 30 degree Fahrenheit walk in freezer!
7. Eat a few pints of ice cream!
That will really make you feel so relaxed. If you're not in a chilled out food coma by the end, you're doing it wrong.
8. Take a nice bath in liquid nitrogen!
It's impossible to feel too hot when your skin is freezing on contact and you're completely numb.
9. Go to Antarctica for a vacation!
I hear it's a little bit cooler there, so you won't feel so hot. Also, there are penguins over there, so that's cool.
10. Stand in front of the fan for a few hours!
Your voice will sound super cool too.
