1. Rocket Electrics Tours
Review that sums it up best: Highlight of my visit to Austin! Had a great time and the trails were excellent. Bikes were in great condition and were very easy to use!
2. Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail
Review that sums it up best: We recently visited Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trail as part of another tour. It is a beautiful bike ride beside the water, with a great view of the Austin skyline. There were lots of other people walking, jogging, and biking, but it wasn't crowded. You can ride under the famous "bat bridge." I'd highly recommend a visit here!
3. ATXcursions (Boat tours and water sports)
4. Live Love Paddle
Review that sums it up best: Great way to see the 1 million or so bats from under the bridge. Our guide was very laid back, good sense of humor and great info on the bats and some Austin fun facts. It was also a beautiful quiet kayak paddle on the return trip. I think we got a better view than people on the bigger boats.
5. Sail Austin Charters - Private Tours
6. Fly Lake Austin
Review that sums it up best: Ed has great communication to be sure you get to where you need to be. Had an Awesome time. Good fun. If you like water this is a must do!! Ed is super nice and helpful!
7. Rock-About Climbing Adventures
Review that sums it up best: Spent two full days climbing with Rock-About at Enchanted Rock this past November. Even with the looming threat of rains we still got in two great days of climbing. Enchanted Rock is a beautiful landscape with fantastic granite. This is a best in class outfit. Along with being very professional, Adam is very knowledgeable, patient, and a great companion to spend the day with. As an aspiring climber, I am trying to find every opportunity to climb and further my own experience. Rock-About was the perfect choice. If you are already climbing and looking to gain more knowledge give them a call. If you have never been rock climbing but think you might want to, dont' hesitate, contact Rock-About and give it a go. The view might be the best part.
8. Barton Creek Greenbelt
Review that sums it up best: Beautiful walk with groomed paths, access to swimming, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing and other. Some shade, some sun - lovely views of downtown from rest areas with enough benches for all. Great place to spend a beautiful Austin day!
9. Austin Duck Adventures
Review that sums it up best: Our friend moved to Austin a few months ago and we decided to visit her. We needed something to do that would give us an all around feel for the city and this was it. You tour the city, get some interesting facts, and splash into Lake Austin. We all enjoyed the tour!
10. City Running Tours Austin
Review that sums it up best: Lee is the man. Do not miss this tour. Fantastic. I did this my second day in Austin and it really helped me get a feel for the place and I got some great recommendations. Also, Lee will point out celebrities sighted in passing.
