I think it is pretty safe to say that almost all of us are obsessed with texting. BUT we also have to admit that it can be pretty freaking annoying at times. Here are a FEW of the MANY annoying text messages that make us want to pull our hair out, and retire from texting!
1. The "K" text.
Mood:
2. The "Ghost" texter.
A ghost texter is an individual who will go long periods of times without talking to you, and then randomly shoot you a text saying something like, "Hey stranger, I miss you." Then a few weeks later, he or she will become a ghost and stop texting you again.
3. The "We need to talk" text.
This is a text that someone might receive from their significant other, and it's never a good sign. Nine times out of ten, your heart is always going to sink when getting a text like this.
4. Being left on READ.
If you have an iPhone, then you will understand my frustration. For those of you who don't know what I mean, let me explain: the iPhone gives you the opportunity to let the person you're texting know that you read his or her message. AND it tells the time that you read the text. There is nothing more awkward than texting your crush this heartfelt message about how you feel about him or her, and then they read it and not respond.
5. The "10 years later" text.
That one person who ALWAYS takes a long time to answer a text, no matter what the circumstance is. Ugh, ah-nnoying.
6. The annoying mass texts during the holidays.
You all know what I'm talking about. Every year, there is always one person in your family who will send "Merry Christmas" to 15 people in one group chat. Then you're getting texts all day from numbers you don't even have saved in your phone.
7. The "Oh" text.
After sending someone a long paragraph, and all they respond back to you is "Oh"?! That person does not even deserve to get a text back after that.
8. The "I'm outside" text, and the sender really isn't even there yet.
9. The "?" text.
When you don't respond as fast as the person would like, so they decide to double text you with a question mark.
10. The redundant "Call me" text.
I'm going to see that I have a missed call from you once I look at my phone, why do you think it's necessary to send a text too?
11. The "LOL" after every sentence text message.
Let's be serious. You and I both know that you did not laugh at the message you sent. So, like, just stop.
