I think we can all agree: certain majors attract certain types of people. Check below to find out which majors are most likely to attract your zodiac sign:

1. Aries – Business Administration/Management

Aries are natural leaders. They can be hot-headed (and doesn’t that sound like your boss?), but their talents lie in directing others toward a common goal.

2. Taurus – Finance/Pre-Law

These bulls can be stubborn, but that’s just another way of saying they fight for what they want and won’t back down in the face of adversity. This is necessary in professions such as finance, where setbacks can be quite devastating, and pre-law, where fighting tirelessly for a client is a requirement.

3. Gemini – Communications/Marketing

Imagine Geminis as little chatterboxes, constantly yapping away to whoever will listen. This sign is ruled by Mercury, thus, Geminis excel at communication. They are very, very good with words. Combine their bubbly personality with their ability to get along with just about anyone and you’ve got a communication/marketing major on your hands.

4. Cancer – Psychology/Children’s Education

Cancers are sensitive, caring sweethearts. They are very in touch with their own emotions and this might help them counsel someone else in need. As well, they are helpful and giving, making them perfect children’s education majors.

5. Leo – Advertising/Public Relations/Hotel & Restaurant Management

Leo’s may appear conceited or self-involved, but that’s only because they have high self-esteem. They care about their appearance and how other’s view them, thus, they are hyper-aware of societal standards. This makes them well-equipped for advertising, public relations, hotel/restaurant management, and any other profession that requires creating a facade to please others.

6. Virgo – History/Sociology

Virgos can be quite pragmatic and intelligent, but they’re often reticent. This sign will do well in professions that don’t require much talking; this way, the Virgo can do most of their work in their head. History, sociology, philosophy, and other detail-oriented majors are perfect for Virgos.

7. Libra – Philosophy/Criminal Justice/Political Science

Libras are diplomatic idealists. They like to see the world as it could be, as well as weigh the costs and benefits of certain actions. They will excel at majors like philosophy, criminal justice, and political science because they are enthusiastic, thoughtful, and often well-liked.

8. Scorpios – Biochemistry/Pre-Medicine

Scorpios are known to be intensely passionate. Majors that keep them engaged, require hard work, and allow for plenty human-to-human interaction will appeal to them.

9. Sagittarius – Journalism/Social Work

Sags are adventurous butterflies, flitting from flower to flower in search of life’s sweet nectar. A career in investigative journalism would provide them with the sort of travel and spontaneity they crave, while a career in social work would provide them with the opportunity to meet many people from all walks of life.

10. Capricorn – Engineering/Accounting/Applied Mathematics

Capricorns are built to work. They are focused, driven, and ambitious in what they choose to pursue. This sign is likely to have a major that requires a lot of mental focus and dedication, such as engineering, accounting, or applied mathematics.

11. Aquarius – Dance/Theater/Human Resource

Aquarius are fiercely independent and usually don’t care what others think of them. They enjoy experiencing new things and might shine in a profession that provides them with a constant stream of new material. On the other hand, Aquarius can also be quite impersonal and detached, which comes in handy in human resource positions when they have to deal with firing people.

12. Pisces – Photography/Graphic Design/Studio Art

Pisces are known as the dreamers of the zodiac. They have complex, consuming imaginations and a flare for creativity. They will excel in professions which allow them to daydream, travel, and feel free.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
