According To Your Zodiac Sign, Here's What Popular Thanksgiving Dish You Are

As a college student, I am even more thankful for Thanksgiving this year. I have a whole weekend to spend with family, friends, and incredible food. Out of all three options, I'm not sure which I missed the most. I eat almost everything, but have you ever wondered which classic dish is most compatible with you? Well, folks, look no further. According to your zodiac sign, this is what beloved Thanksgiving dish you are.

Aries: Stuffing

Aries are incredibly competitive. Have you ever seen family members casually discussing their stuffing recipes? Of course not! There are a million ways to make stuffing, and everyone thinks their way is the best way. Perfect for competitive Aries.

Taurus: Mashed potatoes

Taurus are known for being practical and dependable. They will never let you down, and you know who else won't? Mashed potatoes. There is no wrong way to make them, and they never disappoint.

Gemini: Apple pie and ice cream

Geminis are some of the most loyal people you'll meet. They're always there for you. But they also have a habit of stealing the show and being the life of the party. Sound familiar? The second the turkey is gone, all eyes turn to the apple pie and French vanilla ice cream.

Cancer: Sparkling cider

Cancers are emotional, and what brings out your emotions better than something bubbly? Social events are overwhelming for this sign, so carrying around a drink everywhere you go is a perfect excuse not to talk to anyone.

Leo: Turkey

Leos are dramatic and theatrical; they take center stage always. So what else would they be if not the turkey? Leos, much like the turkey, demand your attention.

Virgo: Dinner rolls

Virgos are loyal and dependable. Their worst fear is letting people down. Biscuits and dinner rolls never let anyone down. They're a comfort food, and good decisions always come after eating bread, much like how Virgos are the best at giving advice.

Libra: Roasted vegetables

With Venus as a ruling planet, it's no wonder that Libras like things to be pretty and just so. And roasted vegetables are definitely one of the prettiest dishes in a Thanksgiving spread. No Libra could resist all those complementary colors!

Scorpio: Cranberry Sauce

Scorpios are kind, but it takes a while from them to break down their walls. It's easy to judge them as one thing, and the same goes for cranberry sauce. It looks bland and one dimensional, but there's more to it than meets the eye.

Sagittarius: Ambrosia salad

Sagittarius are strong-willed and stand out. "Normal" won't cut it for them, so an ambrosia salad made with fruit, coconut, and marshmallows fits them perfectly.

Capricorn: Green bean casserole

Capricorns thrive on rules and traditions. And no Thanksgiving spread is complete without green beans somewhere in the mix. A traditional dish for a traditional sign.

Aquarius: Gravy

Some astrologers believe that Aquarians represent the best of humankind. Gravy represents the best of foodkind, so the two fit.

Pisces: Pumpkin pie

Known as the affectionate sign, Pisces are the embodiment of "sugar, spice, and everything nice." They are as sweet as pumpkin pie!

There you have it, written in the stars! Did you match with your favorite dish?

Happy Thanksgiving!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
