According to astrology, celestial energies impact humans' characteristics and help make us who we are. However, simply understanding the concept does not help us know what this means in relation to us as individuals. Don't know what it means to be a Pisces, what makes an Aries a good leader, or why people are hesitant to put their trust in Geminis? Look no further. Here is a breakdown of the traits associated with the various zodiac signs, told with the help of 'Game of Thrones', because I miss it already.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

If you are an Aries, you are courageous, confident, passionate, and enthusiastic. These are all the qualities that make you a natural leader, however, you are prone to being impulsive, short-tempered, and moody.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

If you are a Taurus, you're probably known for being reliable, patient, and responsible. Some may refer to you as stubborn, but that's only because of your determination and persistence, which will allow you to reach your goals for the future!

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

If you are a Gemini, it is likely that you are affectionate, outgoing, and curious. While you can sometimes be indecisive or inconsistent, this is because of your flexibility, which allows you to adapt to any given situation.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

If you are a Cancer, you are most likely creative, loyal, and emotional. You may be a bit moody, pessimistic, or suspicious at times, which can make you hard to get close to, but you form very close relationships with loved ones and find it easy to empathize with others.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

If you are a Leo, you're probably known known for being kind, energetic, and optimistic. With your headstrong nature you can sometimes come across as arrogant, but your tendency to take charge can help you lead people to come together.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

If you are a Virgo, it is likely that you are hardworking, analytical, and practical. Despite your tendency to be overly critical, your ability to pay attention to the smallest details help you connect with others in a meaningful way.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

If you are a Libra, you are most likely social, fair-minded, and charming. You do have a tendency to be indecisive and to carry a grudge but your diplomatic nature makes you the perfect person to turn to to keep the peace when there is a conflict.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

If you're a Scorpio, you're probably brave, intuitive, and ambitious. Although your sensitivity can lead to feelings of jealousy, resentment, and a reluctance to trust others, you are always very mindful of situations and are very resourceful.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

If you're a Sagittarius, it is likely that you are generous, idealistic, and have a great sense of humor. Try to stay away from making promises that you can't deliver on, as you tend to do. A great Sagittarius quality is that they aren't afraid of taking on difficult tasks, and will do anything to achieve their goals.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

If you are a Capricorn, you are most likely responsible, disciplined, and cautious. While you can come across condescending at times and tend to expect the worst, you are an expert when it comes to self control, and are great at learning from past experiences.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

If you are an Aquarius, you are probably independent, progressive, and inventive. Although you can be unpredictable and aloof at times, you gravitate towards humanitarian activities and want to make the world a better place.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

If you are a Pisces, it is likely that you are artistic, gentle, and compassionate. You may be a bit over-sensitive and attention-seeking, but your intuitiveness helps you achieve great emotional relationships with others.

Hopefully now you have a better understanding of traits are associated with each sign. No sign is perfect, but like these birds, each is unique and special in their own way, and we love them for it.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register.
