The world of beauty has rapidly grown with social media. Beauty gurus and makeup artist a alike interact with their audience through platforms like Twitter,Instagram and YouTube. A popular video trend created and re created by beauty influencers all over YouTube is "Full Face Using ..." videos where the content creator does their full face of makeup using specified items or tools.


1. Full Face Using Q-Tips

Yep, you read that right. The little balls of cotton on a stick that doctors everywhere tell us not to clean our ears with can be used to put on a full face of makeup. This video has been done by makeup artist Thomas Halbert a.k.a Thomas Beauty. Thomas got creative by rubber making a "foundation brush" with a bundle of Q-Tips and rubber banding them together. A similar video was filmed by a French Youtuber known as CookieChipIry. She added a different element by using cotton pads in addition to her cotton swab tools.


2. Full Face Using Black Owned Makeup Brands


Black owned makeup brands or B.O.M.B, is another of the popular "full face" challenges. This challenged was created in support of makeup brands owned by black entrepreneurs . Youtubers like AlyssaForever, Jackie Aina and many others have produced their own makeup looks using products from black owned companies. This challenge has brought more awareness to the excellence of these brands and they products they produce.


3. Full Face Using Mom's Makeup

Those that take on this challenge dive into the makeup collections of their mothers. Some are unsure as the beauty routines are vastly different from their mom's. While others are confident in the products they have at disposed to them. Youtuber Sanne Skar took on the challenge and created a smokey eye with a pink lip as using her mom's makeup.


4.Full Face Using Food

Your kitchen is full of great products to substitute your face power, foundation, blush. You name it, there is a food to replace it. Putting food on your face may not be the most wearable, but it always adds some variety in your day when you use coco power to contour. Can we say Too Faced Coco Contour?


5.Full Face Using Highlighter


Highlighter is all the rage these days. Becca, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Ofra Cosmetics, and Laura Geller are all a few popular brands known for the highlighters they have on the market. Because every makeup junkie strives to stop traffic with their blinding cheek bones, makeup artist Mariya created the "Full Face Using Only Highlighter" challenge.


6.Makeup Full Face Using Kid's Makeup

Curiosity about makeup can start at an early age. Companies that create makeup geared toward children let them have that fun to be imaginative. Kid's makeup isn't just for kids anymore. Beauty YouTubers like NikkiTutorials, Bunny aka Graveyard Girl, and many many more have dabbled in the world of kids makeup. Although the products may not be as pigmented and the formulas not a nice, these creators have still found ways to wow their viewers with the looks they create. All just kid's makeup.


7. Full Face Using Liquid Lipstick

One of the most popular full face challenges is the "Full Face Using Liquid Lipstick." Liquid Lipsticks are a very highly-used product. Brands are producing a very wide range of colors and formulas. A few well known liquid lipsticks are by Anastasia Beverly Hills, Jeffree Star cosmetics and Colourpop. The origin of the challenge comes from Amy Macedo's YouTube channel. While liquid lipsticks have been know to be used as eyeliner, Macedo used her collection to create an entire look.

8. Full Face Without Brushes

Makeup brushes are a makeup enthusiast's best friend. Doing your makeup with just your hands can be akin to finger painting a re-creation of Picasso. But if you are like Eleventh's Gorgeous's Tracy and Stephanie, you're up for the challenge. So put the brushes down and try it out.

9. Full Face Using Food

Who needs Toofaced's Coco Contour when you can just use actual coco powder! Wearing a face full of food may not be the most wearable or functional look, but makeup is about having fun. The "Full Face Using Food " challenge brought YouTuber's like NataliesOutlet and GlitterForever17 to raid their pantry for some "makeup products". YouTuber Wengie, put her own spin on using candy to create her own Harley Quinn inspired look.

10. Full Face Using The Opposite Hand

Using your non-dominant hand to do your makeup? That's a challenge. YouTuber Myra or Myratouchofglam, tried this "Full Face" challenge. Myra, who is left handed, did her whole face with her right hand. A similar video was made by fellow creator Rclbeauty. This video requires some creativity from how to hold the brushes, to making sure that the products end up in there desired place.

Whether you are a makeup artist or just a makeup lover, these "full face" trends are taking the internet by storm-. Those passionate about make up are putting the artistry on display. The "full face" challenges are waiting for more unique looks. Will you try one or invent your own?
