If you had one day in Pittsburgh, from start to finish, here's what you have to do, where you have to go and what you have to see.
1. Breakfast
Pamela's Diner has the best breakfast in Pittsburgh – mostly because you can't go wrong with hotcakes. There are multiple locations in Pittsburgh, so pick one, go there and prepare for a long wait if you want a seat in the A.M.
2. Morning shopping
Love vintage goods? Music? Head to Jerry's Records. Jerry's is home to a vast (probably more than a million) collection of records that provides enough square space for hours of browsing.
3. Lunch
Head left out of Jerry's, and you'll run directly into Mineo's Pizza House. Home to the best slice in Pittsburgh, grab two, sit by the window and enjoy.
4. Afternoon
If it's baseball season, you have to stop by PNC Park. Home of the Pirates, PNC Park was voted the best ballpark in baseball. See for yourself.
5. Dinner
It's been a long day, so it's time to unwind. Make some reservations and head to Täko. Try one of their 100+ tequilas, get a pair of tacos and few appetizers and eat and drink well into the night.
6. Dessert
New to Pittsburgh, and if you're still up to it (or if you can make it there after Täko), Millie's Homemade Ice-cream offers many, many delicious flavors to chose from. Try them all, if you want.
