Being in college is rough, we all know that. No one really understands how many emotions and feelings college students go through unless you are currently one of them. From classes — if you actually go, which you should, to living off of Ramen noodles and needing to call your parents every weekend because you just have not figured out how to save money, the array of feelings is ridiculous. One minute you are a strong, independent person and the next minute you are calling your mom because you can not figure out how much soap you are supposed to put in the washer. It is almost like being a baby again, and let me tell you, babies sure do know exactly how express emotions.
1. Checking your bank account after the weekend and regretting all of your decisions.
2. When your professor changes your grade from an 89 to a 90.
3. When the power point goes from syllabus to chapter 1.
4. When you get to campus and realize you have to grow up.
5. When you realize your roommate is actually the devil.
6. "Alright mom, you can come get me, I don't think this whole college thing is going to work."
7. When you get to class and realize you forgot to study for an exam.
8. When you think you look old enough to get into the bars.
9. When you realize that you have been taking advantage of your mom's laundry skills for 18 years.

10. When your mom puts money in your bank account.
11. When you have to wake up for an 8 a.m. lab.
12. When you have a pop quiz on a Monday.
13. When your paper was due at 11:59 but you haven't started and its 12:01.
14. When classes get cancelled.
As a college student, I have experienced all of these emotions once, twice or all in one week. With finals coming up, I have been 1-14 all in one day. Why does college do these things to us? Why do we forget how to do simple things, not know how to manage our money anymore and just simply can't wake up for class when we have been going to school at 8 a.m. for over 12 years? I have no idea, but I'm sure we can all agree that college has brought us back to being babies and making us grow up again, that's why I love college.
