If we could change everything we didn't like about ourselves, would we genuinely be satisfied? Song of Solomon 4:7 says, "You are altogether beautiful, my darling; there is no flaw in you."
We, as a generation, are convinced that we aren't "enough." Not pretty enough, skinny enough, intelligent enough, etc. We constantly worry about our so-called imperfections and never stop and think about how much we are truly adored by our Savior. Psalm 8:3-4 says, "When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?" God created the moon and the stars, yet he put so much thought into creating you and thinks that you are absolutely breathtaking.
How can you sit there and think that you aren't enough when the creator of the universe wants to listen to every single word that travels out of your mouth? How can you sit there and think that you aren't enough when He was nailed to a cross to die for you, knowing just how precious you were going to be before you were even brought into existence? How can you sit there and put yourself down on a daily basis, even though every little aspect of you, from your head to your toes, was all meant to come together to compile the pieces of your lovely soul? From the galaxy of freckles upon your face to the sunset of bruises upon your arm to the colorful sky within your eyes, you truly are a masterpiece. You are so worth loving. You are enough. Your worth does not rely on how much you weigh or what kind of clothes you wear or what others think of you. Because you are a child of God, you are flawless in His eyes.
