The beauty of most of our relationships in life is that we get to choose them. Aside from family members or coworkers, we get to decide who we want as a friend or as a significant other. We have friends that are like family and acquaintances who we choose to spend time with once in awhile. All of the people we choose to get close with have different personalities and backgrounds and all bring different perspectives into our lives.
