When I left high school and came to college I was terrified that I would not find a group of close friends. However, I was blessed to find a group of people that makes college truly the best time of my life. Here are ten things that will tell you that you found your college best friends.

1. The group message is always bumping

You have a group text message, a snapchat group, and you're constantly tagging each other on things on Instagram. Your group chats are constantly filled with hilarious stories throughout the day and updates on everybody's struggles. There is never a moment that the group chat is not blowing up.

2. You can roast each other all the time.

Nobody is safe when it comes to roasting. From brining up truly humiliating stories to commenting on something they said, the roasting never stops. But it's never a real fight, you just laugh about it and move on.

3. They're always down for an adventure

Whether it's randomly taking a day trip somewhere or going for a 2 am night drive on the parkway, they'll never turn down an adventure. You know you can always count on them to take life by storm.

4. Their advice never fails you

Whether it's over something serious or something silly, they're always there with guidance. They'll sit with you for as long as you need and listen to you rant. After you're done with the ranting they'll give you their honest opinion, and it never fails to make things easier.

5. They keep things super real

Whenever you make a stupid decision or are just being stupid, they tell you straight up. They'll call you out when you've done something wrong and they never let you do something that you'd regret. They never lie to you and are 100% honest. It may be hard to hear the truth sometimes, but you know you need to hear it.

6. They brighten up your worst days

Even on the days that you've been crying your eyes out in bed, they make you laugh and enjoy the day. They'd walk across campus to bring you a water and some food when you can't get up. You might be in the worst mood but with them, that won't last long.

7. Borrowing clothes is never an issue

When you're in desperate need of a cute article of clothing, a quick message to the group chat is all it takes. They'll comment on your Instagram pictures from 100 weeks ago and say, "Can I borrow this". Your closet is their closet and vice versa.

8. Some of your favorite nights have been doing nothing with them

There have been nights where you all just sat there for hours talking and listening to music. You love these nights because they were filled with laughter and you didn't have to wear pants. Who needs to go out when you can stuff your face and roast your friends.

9. You all have the same taste in music

You all respect going from High School Musical to hardcore rap to Tame Impala. Car rides and hangout sessions are filled with music blasting and there's never an argument about a certain song being on. You're also being introduced to new music constantly and some of it becomes your favorite.

10. They fill your life with positivity and motivation

The friends that you've met in college are pushing you to meet your full potential. They only show you the positives of a situation and motivate you to embrace life and all it has to offer. You know in any given situation they will push you in the right direction and send you that way with a smile on your face.

Coming into college can be a nerve-wracking experience without all of your best friends from home by your side. But when you find your friends in college, it makes everything easier. Thank you to the girls that went from strangers to the ones who would drop everything for me. College and life would not be the same without you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
