If you give a girl a twin brother, she may ask why she didn't get a sister, and may try to dress him up as a princess every chance she gets. Trust me, she will dress him as a princess when they're five and he will hate every second of it, but will go along with it.
If you give a girl a twin brother, she will have a forever best friend, someone who she can always confide in and tell her deepest secrets to.
If you give a girl a twin brother, she may fall in love with sports. All sports, especially any that she plays and she will fall in love with any of the sports her twin plays, which brings me to my next point…
if you give a girl a twin brother, be prepared to listen to countless yelling matches about football team rankings and why her team is better.
If you give a girl a twin brother, be prepared to hear her be his biggest fan. At all of his games she will be yelling, "THAT'S MY BROTHER!" Sometimes it's not even yelling, it's telling everyone how proud she is of him.
If you give a girl a twin brother, she will cry when she has to drop him off at college. It will most likely be the first time that they will be separated for more than a week.
If you give a girl a twin brother, she will most likely call him to get help on, "Just this one math problem I cannot get," even though it will be more like four or five. And he will call her to get help on that, "Short essay," when really it is a seven page MLA style paper due in about four hours; but she helps him anyway.
If you give a girl a twin brother, she will celebrate every Tuesday as being Twin Tuesday by posting on her Snapchat if she is with him. (I did this every Tuesday in high school, sorry not sorry.)
If you give a girl a twin brother, she will be his number one fan, and biggest pain in the butt. She will annoy him, and call every weekend when they go to separate colleges.
A twin brother is the best gift that parents could ever give.
**I love and miss you Alex, best of luck at school. I'll see you soon, bud.
