I have always wondered why someone would go as far as to buy a $400 pair of sunglasses or $1,000 for a purse. Why do people go for materialistic things in life when there are so much more important things? For example I have a friend that got upset because someone ACCIDENTALLY scratched her sunglasses and freaked out on him. It was only a tiny scratch and she blew a gasket.

I don't understand why she got so mad it wasn't like she needed them to see because she wears prescription glasses anyways. The guy felt so bad that he freaked out and went to go get her a new pair of sunglasses.

It might just be me and other people might get mad at me for this but I find it ridiculous that some people do that to others. Why do you have to spend so much money on something "better looking" Gucci bag there are other bags that look just as good that don't cost that much. This mainly goes for people who always complain that they don't have a lot of money yet you walk around with shoes, pants, jackets, etc. that cost $100 or more instead of saving money for what you actually need.

By saying this I'm not saying that all people are like that or the people who do that are bad people I'm just saying, and it might just be me here, but there are more things in life then materialistic things like shoes, purses, pants, and sunglasses among other things. Why don't you save all the money your spending on that stuff and go on a vacation somewhere, anywhere your heart desires take family or friends or both. Spend time with those who love you because one day it will all be gone. And when that day comes it will be very sad so live life while you still have it.

Use your money for important things for this life may be the only one you will ever have.
