Celebrities are who we watch when we want to get the latest trends. Celebrities are now being their own fashion designer, instead of collaborating with designers. I think, sometimes this is a good idea when celebrities actually want to produce clothing to their fans in their price range. But, some celebrities create and produce these clothing lines, that their fans can't even afford. I feel as though, if you're going to make a clothing line and you want your fans to buy the clothing, you have to make sure that the clothing is in your fans price range. Yes, some fans will go and purchase their favorite celebrity's clothing. But some fans won't because the prices of the clothing is way too high.
Here are some reasons why nobody really likes Kanye West Yeezy Season:
1. Prices
Yeezy Season clothing line is very expensive. Nobody can really afford the clothes unless your rich, in my opinion. Kanye West wants his fans to purchase his clothing but, how can they when the prices are way too high. No fan is going to want to pay $1,000 for a basic crewneck or a basic bomber jacket. Why would you pay $1,000 for basic clothing that you can buy anywhere else. In my opinion, the clothing is not worth the price in any way. I feel as though, the entire clothing line is priced entirely too high.
2. Clothing
The clothing of Yeezy Season doesn't look right at all. In my opinion, the clothing looks very cheap. The way that all of the shirts have holes and rips in them doesn't look good as well. Why would you pay $1,000 for something you can make yourself? To me, it doesn't make any sense. These clothes are so basic and they are not worth $1,000. Yeezy Season clothing line is not worth the money. Why pay all this money to purchase basic clothing you can get basically anywhere else. You're really paying for Kanye West name that's about it.
3. The Overall Look
The Yeezy season line gives off a "homeless" like appeal to it. The material that the clothing line is made of looks like cheap material and it doesn't look right at all. The overall look of the Yeezy Season line isn't worth all that money. In my opinion, Yeezy Season isn't worth the money or the time. I don't understand why these basic garments are overpriced and the material that they make the garments out of looks very cheap for the price you are actually paying for these garments.
The Yeezy Season clothing line has been getting a lot of bad feedback and press. A lot of people are saying that the Yeezy Season line isn't as good as Kanye West thinks it is. Which, in my opinion they are right. You want your fans to purchase your clothing. But, how can they when the clothing isn't in their price range, seems to have low quality material and just looks run-down and rugged? Why pay $1,000 for the most basic clothing?
