2. But, in reality, it's like this:

3. At midnight, you always think that you are going to kiss someone who looks like this:

4. But something like this is what usually happens:

News flash: the dog is thinking the same thing.

5. When you are older, you usually drink a lot at the party because you think it makes you look like, and have the same confidence as, this guy:

6. But you just end up looking like this:

7. At the party you go to, there are a few types of people, such as the uncle who is so drunk that he starts discussing "deeper" topics...

8. ...the cool mom who can't accept that she isn't 21 anymore...

9. ...the friend who can never hold his/her liquor....

10. ...and/or the adult who thinks that alcohol is actually the devil's nectar.

11. If you are away on vacation for New Year's Eve, you will probably spend your night looking at Snapchat and/or Instagram to see all of the parties that you aren't attending but were invited to:

12. To help you bring in the new year, your party will probably have a ton of glasses like these:

13. The moment that we enter the New Year, your party either reacts like this:

14. Or like this:

15. But, no matter where you are, and regardless of who you are with, the year always ends/begins with this:

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
