Beauty should come from the inside and not from the outside. Everyone is beautiful because we were created in the image and likeness of our heavenly father.
I believe that makeup should be used to enhance someone's beauty, and using too much of it should be avoided. A lot of individuals use makeup to hide their outer beauty because they feel insecure about themselves; some individuals get teased by friends and sometimes even family members about wearing makeup. Others are told that they should at least wear some makeup on their face to look pretty, which I disagree with.
There are a lot of people who I believe introduce their children to makeup too early in life and so as they grow up, they start to believe that if they don't wear makeup they are not beautiful. This is wrong. I'm not saying that wearing makeup is wrong but, it is being abused by people who wear it, I am naturally beautiful and therefore I tend to not wear makeup all the time. When I do I only wear a little bit maybe just some face powder, eye shadow and lipstick. There are many times that I walk around in the capital of Dominica and notice that so many individuals wear too much makeup.
Sometimes, people see that their friend may have too much makeup on and do not bother to say anything to them. I believe that they should say something so that the person would use less, and also learn how to apply makeup correctly. While makeup lasts some people quite a while, it only lasts others a short period of time. Some may feel that if they use a small amount that they won't be satisfied with their look. They always want to look extraordinary when going out. I believe that less is best and I'm happy when I see individuals with little to no makeup, and those that are comfortable with their natural beauty.
Many times while looking at celebrities on the television, seeing them on the red carpet all dressed up in all their glamor, you tend to notice that although they are wearing makeup it may not always show so much while there are others who come on the red carpet natural, most of them don't overdo it when it comes to wearing makeup.
Natural beauty is always the best. I believe that for some of the pageants and modeling shows they should promote natural beauty. What they are teaching these young ladies is that they should always wear makeup because they are now in the limelight and everyone is looking up to them, and so these individuals feel like they should always look glamorous when stepping out I believe that they should also promote natural makeup and tell people to embrace their natural beauty.
My message to everyone is that they should use makeup to enhance their beauty and not be afraid to showcase their natural beauty despite what others may think.
