Ever wonder how an article can go viral? It turns out that it's not as difficult as you'd think. I broke the process down into ten easy steps. Let's begin!

First, start with an introduction paragraph that clearly states your goal.

1. Make Your Article A List

This way no one has to read the entire body of work. Most people don't read each word in your piece because they’re all browsing online while waiting in line for their 12th coffee of the day. But that’s okay! As long as they open the page, you get that precious, moneymaking, organic page view.

2. Include A Hilarious GIF Or Two

Be sure to have some with an explanation, and maybe one without.

3. Throw A Meme In As Well

It doesn't matter what kind as long as it is both nostalgic and truthful.

4. Make A Vague Statement Containing the Word "You"

You know what I mean.

5. Be Playful With Emoji And Punctuation Rules

After all, you want people to know that you have attitude! ;-)

Don’t cover up who you truly are?! <> $$$

The bigger the onslaught of punctuation problems, the more people will pay attention. 8-----------D----

6. Give Your Article A Fun Hashtag To Help It Trend

#viralcontent #vapidtext #ihavetheherp #heartsandsoulsnotfartsandbowls

7. Talk About Your Minority Friends, So Your Worldview Doesn't Seem So Limited

For example, I have three gay friends. So, it's okay if I use the word gay.

8. Insert Plenty Of Buzz Words

Globalization of your social media content can help achieve robust synergy for your new creative paradigm moving forward.

9. Re-State The Entire Article

If you do all of the above, I know that your next articles will be completely void of original content! Congratulations, you now write like everyone else! You can also spew digital vomit into the caustic cesspool that is the internet. Thank you for doing your part.

10. Link To Your Social Media Accounts

Plug your Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and personal website at the end of your article. People will want to know where to find you when they disagree with your opinions.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
