A Writer is someone who sees the world differently and desires to capture the world in words. Ever since we discovered the ability to write we convey our thoughts on parchments, hides, or stones. This skill is a talent and a curse “The pen is mightier than the sword.”(Edward Bulwer-Lytton). Storytellers use this skill to create illusions or tamper with our awareness of reality. This poem I wrote shows how writers are like looms and fabricate words into stories, truths, or facts.

Word Weaver

Write the world on an absent canvas

Weave tales of heroes and heroine

Bring your tapestry to life, story teller

Intertwine the fates of the story

Weave the world as you see fit.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
