Fictional Characters I Would Call If I Ever Got Kidnapped

Imagine walking late at night from work in a creepy parking garage, and you get a suspicious feeling. You look around, but you don't see anything. You begin to walk faster so you could be in the safety of your own car but suddenly a van comes behind you, you run towards your car but the van drives faster and faster, stops right in front of you and someone grabs you and throws you inside the back of the van. That's every girl's nightmare, what would you do in that situation? Who would you call? Well, first, if you have a phone call 911, but if that's unavailable, here are a few fictional characters from some of my favorite crime fighting television shows and movies that I would call.

Emily Thorne from Revenge

If you've seen Revenge then you know Emily kicks butt. With the help of her tech genius best friend, Nolan Ross Emily seeks Revenge for her father. Now, I'd like to imagine that if I was Emily's other BFF and I were kidnapped she'd easily have Nolan track my phone. Then, she'd storm into wherever I was being held captive and injure my captor extremely badly, without killing them, of course, because although she's fierce she still has a heart.

Michael Scofield from Prison Break

Michael cares about everyone's well being so I can't imagine him not helping me in my time of need. He'd probably do as much extensive research as he could in a short amount of time, the he'd tattoo the blueprints of the building I was in on the bottom half of his body, (the top half is taken), then he'd play on my captor's weaknesses to distract them and sneak me out of the building before they even notice I'm gone.

Marcus and Kevin Copeland from White Chicks

I'm picturing dance battles, crazy fights, and hilarious jokes all to return me home safely.

The Pretty Little Liars

I imagine that I'd be the sixth pll, (a great mixture of Aria's uniqueness and Spencer's brains with Emily's fierceness and Hannah's fashion sense and humor) to frighten the liars A kidnaps me, but the girls, along with Alison, find clues, through questioning and following Rosewood's residents as A gives them hints along with false leads to figure out which clue leads to me. Eventually, Spencer has an epiphany and with the help of the others find me and bring me to safety Ali style.

Lila from Lila and Eve

Okay, so Lila isn't actually fighting crime, but everything she does is to find out who killed her son and most of all for revenge. With Lila on my side, she's taking down any and everyone who is involved with my disappearance and she won't stop until I'm found.

(All of these shows and movies are available onNetflix to binge watch, you're welcome).

While this article is meant to be humorous, kidnapping is not. The FBI's official website confirms that NCIC (National Crime Information Center) obtained 84, 924 missing person records by December 1, 2014, 43,289 (about 51%) of which were under the age of 21, these numbers could be a lot higher but everyone who goes missing is not reported. Don't live life in fear, but always be aware of your surroundings.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
